As an animal loving child, I was always more interested in pets than making friends, and to this day, you'll probably still find me with the animals at a party instead of mingling. I grew up with dogs and cats, and rode horses as often as I could. When I had the opportunity to work at an open admission animal shelter in Bellingham, I leapt at the opportunity. I never knew what species, breed or personality would come through the doors but I spent those years learning how to interact with and care for small animals, reptiles, horses, and cattle. Life then led me to a Bellingham dog boarding and daycare facility where I spent the next several years learning and playing with thousands of dogs. School recently brought me to Kittitas County where I live in Thorp with two senior cats, a horse, and a miniature donkey. I immediately felt the lack of dogs in my life, so I was thrilled to join Muddy Paws to help Paige and get my regular dose of vitamin dog. I've met wonderful pups through this job and look forward to meeting yours!
